JRHtourJack Rabbit Hill Farm is a 70-acre diversified farm, vineyard, winery and distillery, located on Redlands Mesa near Hotchkiss. Owners Anna and Lance Hanson grow 18 acres of grapes, 11 acres of hops, sheep, cows and chickens.

Outstanding organic wines, spirits, and hard cider are all produced on the farm. You might recognize or already be a fan of their widely popular Caprock brand gin & vodka. Apples, peaches and additional fruit used for the Caprock products are sourced from other organic orchards in the Hotchkiss area (some also conserved with BCRLT!) - creating a truly locally sourced product, from soil to bottle.

The farm has been conserved in partnership with Black Canyon Regional Land Trust since 2005.

Join the Black Canyon Regional Land Trust Field Club for a special tour of Jack Rabbit Hill Saturday September 12, 2015 at 10:00 am. The tour will include some hands-on harvesting or other activity, as well as a distillation demonstration.

Please bring a lunch and we'll eat together under the shade of a large cottonwood after the tour. Tastings will be available in addition to wine and spirits for purchase!
