Yankee Boy Basin Wildflower Hike

Co-hosted by Colorado Native Plant Society Plateau Chapter

Time and place: Sunday August 4th, 2013 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. Meet and park at the BCRLT office - 160 Liddell Drive, Ridgway, 81432. We will then carpool up into the basin.

Pack your camera and your field notebook and join us for a flower-filled morning in Yankee Boy Basin above Ouray. Stephen Stern, coordinator of Colorado Native Plant Society's Plateau Chapter will be leading us in high elevation wildflower identification.

Bring your usual hiking supplies, plenty of water, and a bag lunch. We will eat together up in the basin amongst the flowers. Ferdinand the Bull would be proud.

BCRLT headquarters is located in the center of Ridgway on the eastern side of Liddell Drive across from the Adobe Inn. Park wherever there is a spot. The map below marks the road.
